We help small businesses and charities avoid the daily charges. The HJS Euro 6 retrofit conversion is fully CVRAS-approved and qualifies for grant funding of £6,000 through the Transport for London scrappage scheme (subject to eligibility). We offer retrofit solutions for nearly all vans, with installations available at our premises in Luton and Chester.

3 Easy Stages to Get Started

The ULEZ van and minibuses scrappage scheme is open to small businesses (under 50 employees), micro businesses (with up to 10 employees), sole traders and registered charities. Your organisation must operate within the 32 boroughs of London or the City of London.

You can only apply for a grant payment retrofit a vehicle that does not meet the ULEZ emissions standards.

The grant is for £6000 which represents a 80% fund towards a Euro 5 to Euro 6 conversion

What does the Euro 5 to Euro 6 conversion entail?
Typically, this conversion includes the installation of a Euro 6 conversion kit, comprising components like a selective catalytic reduction (SCR) system and a diesel particulate filter (DPF). These elements work together to minimize emissions and ensure compliance with Euro 6 standards.
How does the conversion kit function?
A Euro 6 conversion kit enhances the emission control capabilities of the vehicle's exhaust system. For instance, the SCR system injects AdBlue, a urea-based solution, into the exhaust stream. This reacts with NOx emissions, transforming them into harmless nitrogen and water. The DPF captures and incinerates particulate matter, significantly reducing harmful emissions.
